A Summer of School Improvements

It has been a busy and productive summer across Ambition Education Trust, with significant improvements taking place at many of our schools. Our teams have worked tirelessly to ensure upgraded, high-quality, safe, and sustainable learning environments are ready for the start of term.

Here’s a snapshot of the work completed so far:

✅ Ridgeway Academy
A full and extensive refurbishment of seven Science labs supporting our commitment to improving the learning environments of all students by providing high quality modern facilities. 

☑️ Sandringham School
Our Food Technology rooms have been fully refurbished, delivering modern, state-of-the-art spaces with increased capacity to enhance students’ learning experiences.

✅ ST ALBANS GIRLS'​ SCHOOL (STAGS)
A comprehensive £2.2 million CIF-funded project is progressing well, including the installation of a new fire alarm system, emergency lighting to L2 compliance, and full electrical rewiring to address health & safety risks.

☑️ The Adeyfield Academy
A major investment project is well underway, with around three miles of heating pipework installed in preparation for winter. This forms part of a wider £2.5 million CIF-funded upgrade to the school’s infrastructure. Learning spaces including the Learning Resource Centre, Drama Studio, and DT teaching rooms have also been enhanced to support a growing Year 7 cohort.

✅ Verulam School
A £1 million refurbishment has transformed the school’s Science labs, D&T rooms, Computer/IT suites, and also upgraded the canteen and Sports Hall changing facilities.

And the work doesn’t stop there. Across the Trust, we remain committed to continuous improvement and investment in our school environments – always striving to provide high quality, safe, sustainable learning environments which offer the very best for our students and staff.
