Ridgeway Academy Wear Jeans for Genes

Ridgeway Academy staff and students swapped their usual school trousers or skirt for jeans as part of our Jeans for Genes charity event, helping to raise money for Genetic Disorders UK.

The school was filled with students and staff proudly wearing their jeans, creating a great sense of community while supporting such an important cause. Ridgeway Academy raised over £150, with the money going towards research that aims to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of genetic conditions affecting children and young people in the UK.

It was fantastic to see the Ridgeway community getting involved and demonstrate our school ‘Values in Action:

Relationships - engaging in the wider life of the school community
