School Games Mark Awards

The Adeyfield Academy:

We are delighted to announce that The Adeyfield Academy has achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the third year running! The School Games Mark is a national award scheme facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to celebrate schools for their commitment to competitive sport, inclusivity, and community engagement. We are immensely proud of students — from all those who competed in inter-school events to the dedicated young volunteers, leaders, and officials who made our fixtures possible. Achieving Gold once again reflects our commitment across participation, competition, workforce, and clubs. A huge thank you to our hardworking PE Department for their tireless dedication!

Here’s to another fantastic sporting year ahead as we look forward to applying again in 2027! 🎒👟✨

Garden Fields JMI School:

We are delighted to announce that we have maintained our Platinum School Games Mark Award for this school year, 2025/26. The School

Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sports Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. This achievement is only possible through the ongoing commitment of our whole school community. Thank you to the numerous students and parents who participated wholeheartedly and took time out of their schedules to support the many school sporting activities. As part of the application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded. A special thanks to Mrs Banks for managing the logistics of many of our sports events, festivals, and fixtures and Miss Elson for overseeing and supporting with all of the events. We are so proud of Garden Fields!
